Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, early/mid-career Associate Wealth Advisor to focus on business development, build strong client relationships, and deliver exceptional wealth management services. Success in this role will be measured by the advisor’s ability to attract and retain high-net-worth clients through referrals, networking, and professional partnerships. While an existing book of business is not required, a proven track record in developing new client relationships or business development is essential.


Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Client Acquisition:
    • Proactively identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners.
    • Develop and maintain referral networks with attorneys, CPAs, and other centers of influence (COIs) to generate new client opportunities.
    • Leverage firm resources, marketing initiatives, and events to expand client base and drive revenue growth.
  • Client Relationship Management & Financial Planning:
    • Serve as a trusted advisor, providing tailored financial solutions, including investment management, estate planning, and tax strategies.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional client service and ensure seamless execution of financial plans.
    • Stay informed on market trends, investment opportunities, and regulatory updates to provide high-quality advice.
  • Professional Growth & Firm Contribution:
    • Engage in firm-sponsored networking and business development initiatives.
    • Contribute to thought leadership through industry events, educational seminars, and client workshops.
    • Support the firm’s long-term growth by mentoring junior team members and contributing to strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
  • CPWA, CFA, CFP, or similar designation preferred, or a willingness to pursue.
  • 3+ years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, investment management, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to develop new client relationships through networking, referrals, and COI partnerships.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • FINRA Series 65, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to grow within the firm and take on increasing responsibility.
