Bill Enszer

President

Bill Enszer serves as President of Segment Wealth Management, where he oversees the firm’s strategic direction and long-term growth initiatives. He is also a voting member of the firm’s investment committee.

With more than 20 years of experience in investment management, Bill has worked extensively with institutional and ultra-high-net-worth clients. His expertise spans private equity, hedge funds, manager selection, and portfolio construction. He has allocated billions of dollars across traditional and alternative investment strategies and has managed an equity and macro hedge fund, developed systematic strategies, and applied advanced data techniques such as natural language processing to the investment process.

Prior to joining Segment, Bill was the Chief Executive Officer of Salient Partners, LP, a $5 billion asset management firm known for its real asset and alternative investment solutions. In that role, he led the firm’s operations, served on its board of directors, and successfully executed a business restructuring and sale. He also served as Managing Director of Portfolio Management, where he collaborated with Salient’s investment teams to refine strategy, lead product development, and oversee private market investments.

Bill holds a B.B.A. in Economics and Finance from Baylor University and an M.B.A. in Finance from Tulane University. He is active in the Houston community, formerly serving as President and board member of the Wilchester Men’s Club, a local charity focused on youth outreach, education, and supporting families in need.
